Green smoothies have become incredibly popular. It’s really awesome to see them popping up in so many places as more and more people get excited about the benefits of green veggies. They are great for your body.

This green smoothie is my favourite one at the moment, it’s incredibly nutritious and really creamy and sweet. I enjoy this green smoothie in the morning to make sure that I get all the energy to start the day.

Dark leafy greens like spinach are important for skin, hair and bone health, they provide protein, iron, vitamins and minerals. Spinach are really high in vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese and folate among others.

Celery is amazing for preventing inflammation and disease, protecting your cardiovascular system, cleansing your body, improving your skin, recovering from exercise and even helping you get to sleep at night.

Lemons are the most alkaline fruit after watermelon, they can help balance your body’s pH and chia seeds will provide you sustainable energy to keep going the whole day.

Coconut water is way more effective at hydrating the human body than those of sports and energy drinks whilst avocado and bananas are really high in potassium.

Spirulina and Chlorella will help you supporting healing, delaying aging, and significantly lowering cancer risk, microalgae gently detoxify, quiet inflammation, and activate cell renewal. In addition, these superfoods contain a powerhouse of essential nutrients: trace minerals, iron, vitamins, essential fatty acids, and highly absorbable amino acids.


2 cups of spinach

2 celery sticks

½ lemon

2 tablespoons of chia seeds

1 cup of coconut water

1 avocado

2 bananas

a teaspoon of Spirulina

a teaspoon of Wheatgrass

Total Time: 10 minutes

Serving Size: 2 serves


1 Juice the spinach, the celery and the lemon, then blend the juice that you just made with the rest of the ingredients until you get a smooth texture. Enjoy!
