I have been enjoying to make this recipe on the weekends to have it with my breakfast or as desert, they feel incredible. It has a strong cocoa flavour really sweet and soft, so is a nice contrast with the hazelnuts and I enjoy to have it with fresh raspberries or strawberries, I like to have it as well with orange juice.

Even if it is a treat, is really healthy packed with antioxidants and with anti-inflammatory properties, as well as fibre, this is great because you will feel fuller for a long time.

4 tablespoon raw cocoa

3 tablespoon agave syrup

½ cup ground almonds

½ cup dates

½ cup toasted hazelnuts

2 tablespoon goji berries

2 sweet potatoes

A pinch of sea salt

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 55 minutes

Serving Size: 10 brownies

1 Pre-heat the oven to 180C, peel and cut the sweet potato into chunks then steam them for 20 min, once the sweet potato is soft blend it with the dates, then mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Place the mixture in a tray in the oven for 20/25 min or so, is handy to use oven paper because it gets sticky.

2 You will know that is ready because it should be dry in the inside and toasted in the outside. Enjoy!.
