Hello friends! Today I am sharing a delicious hot chocolate! As winter is coming and with it cold and dark days, what better way to stay at home with a cozy blanket and a delicious how chocolate with whipped cream!

On this post I will show you how to make a vegan hot chocolate at home from scratch, I will top it up with some whipped cream, cinnamon and more chocolate, so good!

2 cups almond milk

4 tsp cacao powder

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp ground cinnamon and a bit more to top it

1/2 vanilla pod

50g chocolate bar and a bit more to top it

some coconut whipped cream

2 sticks of cinnamon to decorate

preparation time: 30 minutes

total time: 40 minutes

serving size: 2 serves


In a small pot, pour two cups of almond milk, add 4 teaspoons of cacao powder, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, a tablespoon of ground cinnamon, give it a stir.

Add half of a vanilla pod and 50g of a chopped chocolate bar. Cook at medium heat for around 20 minutes until gets smoother and thicker consistency.

Serve and top it with some coconut whipped cream, ground cinnamon, more chopped chocolate and add a stick of cinnamon to decorate and also for more flavor.

Now, just take a blanket and enjoy your delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream 🙂
